Origin: Crafted by the S.B. Foot Tanning Co. in Red Wing, Minnesota, this oil-tanned hide reflects over a century of craftsmanship.

Texture & Feel: The top side features a smooth, matte brown that is entirely non-waxy and non-oily to the touch. It holds a regular temper, striking a balanced, slightly rigid flexibility that allows your journals to open comfortably while maintaining their shape. 

Quality & Performance: at a 4–5oz thickness, this standard-grade oil-tan hide is inherently resistant to water, stains, and daily wear. As a natural character leather, it may feature distinct beauty marks like brands or light scratches.
